A Kumquat is a fruit, but I don't know what kind. Cursory wikipedia glances tell me it might be a kind of citrus, but it has a disputed taxonomy. It could be a fish for all we know! I got the name from a button in my button collection that says "Kumquats Make You Horny." I have absolutely no idea what it means, but it is very funny.
